Disc Bowl Zee
**Objective:**
The objective of the game is to score the highest number of points by throwing discs at triangular goals labeled with the 13 cards of a standard deck's suit (Ace through King) and forming poker hands using the scores from 15 stages.
**Game Components:**
1. 13 equilateral triangular goals with 66-inch sides, each with a small centered 2 and 2/3 -inch triangle, sewn together.
2. A 7 foot 4 inch throwing triangle, located 11 feet from the closest corner of the Ace goal.
3. 4 dice, each with different sides and suits (Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, and Spades).
4. 2 triangle discs for throwing (players can share or have their own).
**Dice Details:**
1. Hearts die: Numbers 1, 2, 6, and three Joker sides.
2. Clubs die: Numbers 1, 2, 5, 6, and two Joker sides.
3. Diamonds die: Numbers 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and one Joker side.
4. Spades die: Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
**Gameplay:**
1. The game consists of 15 stages, similar to the 10 stages in ten-pin American standard style bowling.
2. At the beginning of the game, each player takes turns rolling the Spades die, which is a standard 6 sided die, to determine the order of play.
3. At the beginning of each stage, each player rolls up to 4 dice. The first die rolled determines the suit of the throws for that stage. You can roll each die once and use whichever dice you want to add up to which of the 13 goal triangles you will be throwing for. Ace requires a 1 or a Joker rolled die, Jack is 11, Queen is 12, and King is 13, with 2 through 9 being their stated number. Rolling a Joker can be any number from 1 through 13.
4. Each player has 2 throws per stage and can use either throw but if you only throw once you get 1 extra point.
5. Points are awarded based on the disc's position on the goal:
- 4 points: covering the small central triangle in the middle of each goal triangle totally with the disc.
- 3 points: covering the small central triangle in the middle of each goal triangle partially with the disc.
- 2 points: inside the goal triangle but not covering the small center triangle or the goal triangle's borders.
- 1 point: covering part of the goal triangle border.
- 0 points: missing the goal.
- 1 extra point for only throwing once per stage, unless you miss the goal.
6. Cumulative points are earned for each 5 consecutive stages, a "hand", making 3 consecutive stages.
- One Pair: 5 point
- Two Pair: 10 points
- Three of a Kind: 15 points
- Straight: 20 points
- Flush: 25 points
- Full House: 30 points
- Four of a Kind: 35 points
- Straight Flush: 40 points
- Royal Flush: 50 points
The highest score would be throwing 3 Royal Flushes in Spades and only throwing once per stage garnering 225 points, 50 points per each hand and 5 points each stage by throwing the disc and covering the middle triangle completely. These are the current rules and through game testing and refining, they may change or house rules might pop up that make for better game play. The game can be played from a chair and shrunk for different ability levels as well.
